Who we are
Tools for Teens, Inc. is an Arizona non-profit corporation operating https://toolsforteens.org. Reach us at hello@toolsforteens.org.
What we collect
- Information you give us through forms (name, email, phone, message, parent/guardian details on enrollment, mentor application content).
- Donation records are processed and stored by Stripe, not by us. We see your name, email, and the amount you gave; Stripe handles the rest.
- Anonymous usage analytics via Plausible Analytics — page views, referrer, country. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.
- Server logs from our hosting provider (IP, request path, timestamp) — kept for spam prevention and security.
How we use it
- To respond to your messages and applications.
- To send the receipt and updates related to a gift you've made.
- If you opt in to our newsletter, to email you cohort and program updates. Unsubscribe any time with the link in every email.
- To improve the site (anonymous, aggregate analytics only).
Who we share it with
- Stripe — to process donations.
- Resend — to deliver our transactional emails.
- Cloudflare — anti-spam (Turnstile) and form processing.
- Plausible Analytics — anonymous traffic stats.
- Our newsletter platform (e.g., Buttondown), if you subscribe.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ever.
Children's information
Enrollment forms collect a teen's first name and age. We require explicit parent/guardian consent at submission. We do not knowingly collect or store information from children under 13. Teens 13-17 are involved in our programs only with active parent/guardian participation in the enrollment process.
